QUALITY CONTROL:

JORO workstations and height-adjustable mechanisms are tested both in-house and by an independent laboratory, to guarantee that all our products meet or exceed ANSI and BIFMA standards. JORO’s commitment to quality is based on the ISO9000 standards and gives our clients the peace of mind that their JORO products will perform up to their expectations.

HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE FRAMES:

All JORO workstation frames are constructed from aluminum, using proprietary extrusions. Aluminum has a high strength-to-weight ratio, which allows us to build highly durable products that have a relatively light weight. The use of proprietary extrusions also allows us to incorporate an aesthetic design into the frame itself, without the need for extra shrouds.  Our use of lighter weight materials also reduces the load factor in building designs as well as reduce the cost of shipping.

WORKSURFACES:

JORO workstation surfaces are designed with both style and functionality in mind. The surfaces are available in contemporary corner and rectangular designs, and can also be custom designed. 3D laminate construction, also known as rigid thermofoils (RTF), provides excellent durability (scratch resistant), while rounded corners and edges offer added safety and comfort.

JORO solutions are about more than just selling an ergonomic height-adjustable workstation; every JORO solution produces a more efficient workplace and a more productive worker for our clients. JORO produces innovative, high-end, modular sit-to-stand workstations that are designed using state-of-the-art technology and manufactured using the highest quality materials.

JORO height-adjustable frames can be sold with or without work surfaces, and are offered in both manual (crank) and electric versions. All frames are available in black or silver.

ENRGY EFFICIENT - ELECTRIC ADJUSTABILITY:

All JORO electric control systems are extremely energy efficient, allowing you to ‘go green’ while implementing an ergonomic, electric height-adjustable solution. When not in use (being adjusted), JORO’s electric controls use just 1.6 watts of electricity, which is more energy efficient than many of the most common electronic devices found in your home or office. Some comparisons to other electronic devices in ‘standby mode’: computer monitor = 1 watt, DVD player = 1 watt, cordless phone = 2 watts, laptop computer = 2 watts, desktop computer = 4 watts, HD cable box = 21 watts.* (*taken from Energy Consumption by Consumer Electronics in US Residences: Final Report to Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), January 2007, by TIAX LLC)

All JORO electrical components are designed to meet the following standards and carry the appropriate markings:

  • WEEE ( Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive

  • RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive
